Bouncing Back: From Prison to Employment Workbook
Those facing reentry from prison will face significant and ongoing economic and social obstacles. The tragedy of the situation is many of the returning citizens will encounter a broken system contributing to a failed attempt at reentry. A strong work ethic, avoidance of shortcuts, discipline and commitment to a goal are key for realizing success, it’s hoped that this workbook From Prison to Employment will aid the returning citizen on their path to success. The workbook outlines five stages in finding success. It is designed to aid the returning citizen find meaningful employment opportunities.
Columbia College Re-Entry Certificate
The Columbia College Certificate program will examine the critical challenges returning citizens face, including employment, housing, mental and physical health, and education. In addition to reviewing these challenges, the program will introduce participants to concepts and skills for success in re-entry.
